Club Information
Welcome to Skagit R/C Club! The club is a chartered model airplane club of the
Academy of Model Aeronautics, charter number 1810.
Are you interested in model aviation and living in the Skagit County area? Come fly with us and
consider joining Skagit R/C Club! Please contact our officers for more
information.
The club meets officially every month. At Skagit R/C Club
meetings, we conduct business, show off our models and raffle off prizes.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The club also has a dinner at the field every
August.
The club also meets regularly at Carleton Molesworth Field to fly
in good weather, trains novice pilots, and participates in several Big Bird,
Fly-In, Float-Fly and Combat events. Everyone has a great time flying (and
occasionally crashing).
Dues, which provide full field flying privileges,
are $80.00 per year for an individual adult and $5.00 per year for a student.
This helps pay for our field lease and maintenance, monthly newsletter and AMA
charter fees. All members of SRCC must also be AMA members.
